Caronte: Charon (2017)

The world is about to end. Yes, but nothing serious. After years of murders, destruction and epidemics, the Earth is an emptier place in which violence and despair have given way to resignation. In the city, however, there seems to be a place where they can give you the pass for salvation. You sit down and order and if the phone rings you're safe, you and the person you were talking to. This place is called Charon and keeps the stories of those who one evening by chance sat at his counter. And life, suddenly, has not been the same.
