Sonic the Hedgehog (1993)

Princess Sally Acorn, main heroine in the show, can be somewhat promiscuous, especially with Sonic.

Rotor is slightly implied to be "in the closet" on this show, as well as many of the comic book series.

The child counterpart Sally is shown wearing pants in the episode "Blast to the Past" while the young woman counterpart of Sally wears none, showing throughout her pubescent groin region and legs, though nothing graphic is shown.

Various female characters featured are humanize animals who wear somewhat revealing clothing if they wear any at all. This is also in the comic book series, though more emphasized on. Crease lines of pubic, breast, and buttocks are present, leaving nothing for the imagination compared to any other Sonic media with clothed female characters.

A romance between Sonic and Sally is present during show, and they kiss occasionally. One of their kiss scenes ran for 8 seconds in the episode "Hooked on Sonics".

There is continuous action scenes throughout the show that endanger the characters, but no one is seriously hurt, and wounds are often gone by the following scene/episode.

There is a running gag where Dulcy the Dragon has a habit of crashlanding while flying, but it is used for humor, and she survives in a daze.

Dr. Robotnik often verbally threatens Snively, occasionally grabbing him. In the episode, "Sonic Conversion" he forces Snively's head into his mouth to prove he metaphorically has no heart.

Ixis Naugus tortures Dr. Robotnik by transforming him into different animals, including a pig, forcing him to eat dirt.

Characters who are captured by Dr. Robotnik are turned into robots ("Roboticized"), dying in a manner and losing their free will. Uncle Chuck is a victim of this, and later regains his mind but keeps his robot body. Dr. Robotnik and Bunnie Rabbot are partially roboticized and gain mechanical limbs.

Dr. Robotnik's robots and weapons are routinely destroyed every episode by the protagonists.

Slapstick violence is often used among the protagonists, particularly with Antoine D'Coolette.

In the episode "Fed Up with Antoine", a group of cannibalistic motor bikers try to eat Antoine, but this is not too severe and he is saved unharmed.

Lots of discussions on conflicts and "roboticism", which might be somewhat unsettling for younger viewers.

Often times Antoine will utter "sacre bleu cheese." Sacre bleu is French for "damn it".

There is some mild name calling and playful insults in most every episode, though no profanity is spoken.

There is no alcohol, drugs or smoking in this TV series.

A darker show than Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog.

Dr. Robotnik's pure evil attitude, voice, and temper may scare younger viewers.

Ixis Naugus has a somewhat chilling voice, but he is kinder than Dr. Robotnik is as a villain.

The brief viewings of characters being turned into robots ("Roboticized") may frighten younger viewers.
