Once a Thief (1996)

Some kissing is featured from time to time.

Camier is often implied loosely to be in-love with Li-Ann and even admits it to his colleague at one point. Characters frequently express a desire to marry/date her, usually with rejection.

The Director is shown to be into BDSM and leather bondage. This is played for laughs.

Vic refers to a man's penis as his "little Elvis".

Some sexuality, frequent references to sex clubs, prostitution and other similar sex things, mostly just innuendo. No actual nudity is ever featured although men are sometimes seen topless and women are sometimes seen in skimpy clothing or dresses with cleavage.

The show features two assassins, Murphy and Camier, who often tote around machine guns, poisons, have secret "body drop-off" locations including an old incinerator, etc. but despite their job they are protagonists and rarely actually kill anybody throughout the series. When they do kill people, it's more often than not a bad guy, and usually done in a non-graphic manner.

Some scenes of people being beaten up, usually for comedic effect. Rarely is any character seriously injured beyond what would constitute a PG-13 rating.

Murphy and Camier discuss a species of predatory bird that eats the heads off of other birds and leaves them to dry in the sun. This is meant to be funny but may bother some viewers.

Lot's of people are killed mostly with guns . Little to no blood most of the time, but not always. Plus some martial arts fights that are not bloody at all.

The R rating is really unfounded for. It has no way any kind of R rated violence at all. A more correct rating would be PG-13 for action violence.

Some frequent sexual innuendo and phrases such as "degenerate" and "pervert", and a character singing a song to a scientist with lyrics that mention his "dick" being cut off. Most of this stuff is nothing a younger viewer would pick up on, though.

Some mild obscenities such as Camier saying "shut up" and the Director referring to a man as a "bug to squish".

Murphy trips and lands face-first in a cow patty. This is featured in full on-screen and he is seen with brown stuff all over his face. Camier cheerfully says "merry Christmas!" to him and laughs at him.

Two characters on a motorbike have a conversation about the bumps in the road. It's suggested that one character has gotten hemorrhoids. They discuss this for at least a minute in a crude way.

Murphy and Camier drink martinis.

Some cigarette smoking is seen in background shots.

An anarchist group known as The Droogs take pills which are said to have a combo of opiates, barbiturates and other illegal substances in them to make them act violent and crazy. We see them hysterically laughing.

Despite this show's violence, it's all done in a comedic, almost satirical style and rarely features anything too extreme.
