Judge Joe Brown (1998)

Some cases involving sex, and infidelity which cause the lawsuits are mentioned, but Joe Brown is far stricter than Mathis, when it comes to sexuality propriety, in this case, and he will not allow defendants to get explicit in their remarks.

It's mild. The occasional argument can be the exception (such as one episode where a thug cursed Joe Brown out and threatened his friends with revenge), but it wasn't particularly violent, and Joe got him in cuffs.

Some swearing during the court cases that is bleeped out on TV airings.

Since Judge Joe tries to make it a family-friendly environment, he does not allow even for crude jokes. He's serious about maintaining a clean decorum.

An occasional drug reference, usually when referencing the crimes, but the subjects never get graphic. Usually it's mostly alcohol and, seldomly, smoking cigarette. Joe isn't the type to smoke.

Every now and then you have a thug giving Joe lip, but there's never any true threat, because even thugs know not to cross him, most of the time. It's a peaceful show.
