Padres e hijos (1993)

The plot focused on the life of a typical middle class family (they were considered rich for most Colombians as the typical Colombian is lower middle class or poor; a family like this looked rich, but they were really middle class) of Colombia and their day to day activities involved sometimes one or all members of the family as they grew older. Carlos (the father) lost his first wife after the first few years of the series. He had 3 children with her. They were devastated because the mother was a very essential member of the family because she knew how to handle, console and advice the family. Shortly after his first wife's death Carlos met another lady and got married to her. The new mother brought along 2 other children to make the family of a total of 5 children; however, the oldest two left the home. From here on the show lost its magic but people still watched it because the time at which it was aired it was right after midday news and there was nothing else to watch on the other Colombian channels. This is where I stop caring about the show and stopped watching it. Because it was not realistic any more.
