NewsChannel 4 (1995)

Compared to WWOR, WNBC was pretty tame about sex, and the sex is in purpose, and not pleasure as it's about news relating to laws on sex, obscenity, pornography, and usually about sex crimes.

As with most local news, New York had it fair share of crime (but it was cleaning, and espeically after Bloomberg became mayor in 2002, the city was cleaning up even more), so some news reports are graphic, all in purpose, but it's tame compared to WWOR.

Some mild comical accident violence during the "Around the World" segments.

Not common, but sometimes there is during footage, and it's bleeped out.

Compared to WWOR news, it's never really graphic, and always there's drug stories, but with purpose.

It's news, but not as strong compared to WWOR or WNYW, which are more sensationalist.
