The Richard Bey Show (1987)

Many episodes are about cheating, and do erupt into sexually explicit tirades. This show was the first to lead, before "Springer" took over as the king of this content.

Some arguments, and plenty of fist-fights.

Cinemax content advisory for the uncensored reruns of this show: rated TV-MA-DLSV for violence (V), graphic language (GL) and adult content (AC). Sometimes, instead of adult content (AC), it'll be strong sexual content (SSC) and nudity (N) on the more sexually explicit episodes.

For early episodes, even then, the Cinemax content advisory, at the very least would be: rated TV-MA for adult language (AL) and adult content (AC) or at least (AC) alone. There is one graphic reference to a woman (can't say it) with a dog in a 1992 episode as "9 Broadcast Plaza."

For instance in one episode, he says the word "d--k" uncensored to reference his name but it's intended as crude humor. And yes the show has a lot of crude humor.

Unlike similar, but codeless, "Springer," however, this one had a code, and it was a reason why they were on par with each other in ratings (with "Bey" on UPN stations, or, then, future, before it went into national syndication in 1995, and "Springer" on future, and later, The WB stations), and even beat "Springer" occasionally.
