Negermagasinet (2005)

DR - The Danish Broadcasting System's new program 'Negermagasinet' becomes a tribute to the black culture in Denmark. At the same time, it is an attempt to depict a foreign culture, and to dramatize the use of the dangerous, racist and condescending word 'negro' in a Denmark that, to say the least, may seem a bit uninterested in African culture. Each program has an overall theme that sets the framework for a personal and sometimes cross-border interview. There will also be features that emphasize, investigate and show the variety culture in Denmark.
