Showtime Championship Boxing (1986)

Being a pay-TV boxing show, there are some heated moments involving disrespect towards opponents, making sexually explicit comments about their opponent's girl. It wasn't always like this but around the time the 90s came, and more profane rap (be it bragging/battle/hardcore/or gangsta rap was gaining more mainstream popularity, the profane rap entrances for fighters like Tyson, started getting more common, and bravado (usually "I f--ked your girl n---a") and sexually explicit content grew.

Being a boxing show, it's mostly just because of the gore and bloody moments, but it's not more than that, usually. There is some heated moments, during the fights, where the boxers will curse out their opponents, and likewise. But it doesn't happen that much.

On & off, but when it happens, it's graphic and severe. Usually it's during the entrances (with the hip hop music), during the boxing breaks between rounds, when the more profane coaches are drilling their boxers, or during the sometimes heated confrontations between boxers. Usually a lot of hard R/TV-MA profanity. Usually during a Mike Tyson fight.

Occasional shots of boxers smoking, and maybe drinking, sometimes the occasional graphic reference, but it's mild.

Given the competitive nature of boxing, some intense moments are to be expected. But they never get too intense. And Showtime might be more tame compared to HBO, which is about confrontational moments.
