Rei Davi  (2012)

Spanning his life from a teenager tending his father's flock to his death when the anointed King of Israel, this story is a masterpiece of story telling, rich with all the familiar characters from the Old Testament. Leonardo Brício does a fine job of portraying the troubled king as do most of the cast. Plotting and intrigue abound as the young "David" grows from the young man to a young king and finally a man of wisdom and mercy.
