Ladies Like Us (2013)

Ladies Like Us is a social commentary on the endearing hearts of the human spirit and how we cope with a world that often does not make sense via society standards of a woman and what that actually means. Overall expresses desire to keep inner child alive. Kristina is a charming head in the clouds dreamer, who hopes to be the new Tina Fey with swag but is easily thrown off track by bad boys, insecure choices, and her wild imagination that has her going in circles. The series follows Kristina and her sidekick friend, Kelly as they navigate the coming of age situations that get blown out of proportion through good intention but poor execution. The series has an edgy theme told through rap music and hip hop to illuminate the female rebel spirit. Kristina and Kelly have everything they need to be successful, just nobody knows it yet.. not even them.
