End of a Brave Man (1994)

Mofeed is a stubborn and aggressive boy that lives in a poor Syrian village during the French colonialism. Mofeed's manners always get him into trouble and eventually after several incidents his rough father kicks him out and the boy finds himself growing up in prison. Now leaving prison a strong man, life does not go easier on him and Mofeed struggles to make his way through decently without losing his pride or self-respect, yet problems always seem to find him. The experiences of a brave man, the love, friendship, crime, and other conflicts are all depicted in this classic Syrian drama series.
