High Notes (2018)

Some people are born with greatness tattooed on their destiny. Others create a legacy by forging through insurmountable odds. Franklin Lee just wants to make it through the day without getting carjacked or passengers having sex in his backseat. He's failing at both. However, after a long day of driving eclectic characters around Los Angeles for his ride-share job, the silver lining for this hopeless romantic is coming home to the woman of his dreams. If only she wasn't his roommate's girlfriend. And by roommate we mean sister. Well, half-sister, does that still count? Sleeping on the couch at his sister's small apartment hasn't afforded Frank the type of privacy needed to figure out life, but it provides just enough comfort for his karaoke pursuits. His passion for the microphone has awarded Frank a reputation that embarrasses his self-esteem. As one of the most renowned songbirds in the city, Frank may discover his destiny after all, or at least a high note for his next ride.
