The Road to Hollywood (2017)

NYC Actress, Maytal Angel, documents her solo acting mission across the country for two years. Traveling alone to 12 cities, filming by herself while she must book an acting job in each city before advancing to the next one. Couchsurfing across the country with minimal fund, she finds like minded artists for collaboration and inspiration. Maytal sold all of her possessions and gave up her New York City apartment to go on this lonely, exciting, painful, exhilarating challenge. Struggling to survive with side jobs, finding a place to crash, dealing with heartbreak, networking and meeting friends in different cities, also helped re-discover her faith in human kindness.
