Sovedrikken (1984)

Doctor Brause is a surgeon that can accept only another surgeon for a son-in-law. Daughter Charlotte's boyfriend, Vilhelm, is a lawyer, so Brause throws him out the door. Brause's niece Rose and her lover, the hunter Valentin, sort out the threads after many complications. Valentin utilizes his knowledge about Brause having an affair with the miller's wife Abelone. TV adaptation of Weyse's 1809 opera comique (syngespil).
