The Country Inn is a portrait of Stefan Johansson, a passionate chef who owns a tiny inn. Much of the documentary is devoted to images of Johansson and his colleagues at work, creating incredibly elaborate place settings and meticulously preparing the dishes. Many of the dishes are photographed at close range.
