A Christmas Rose

We are all familiar with the saying, a dog is a man's best friend. But did you know that they also play matchmaker? As Rose is the true author of this story, she will take it from here. "One Christmas, my owner Lance and I were on our way to his parent's house after a breakup put his entire life in a tailspin. When an unexpected snowstorm trapped us in Ambler, Vermont, my nose immediately picked up romantic potential (and Christmas cookies). I followed my keen sense of smell, leading us to Paws, a pet shop/ doggie daycare, and the store's beautiful owner, Holly. I could tell these two dog enthusiasts were perfect for each other long before they did. With the help of my new friend, Holly's dog Rufus, I made sure that Christmas ended with Lance and Holly under the mistletoe. On the way, I became a social media star, saved Paws from the Scrooge-like Pet Depot, and led a sleigh of presents to the hospital during the town's annual dog Christmas parade Santa Paws.
