Unspoken Years (2024)

Matthew is a young and successful businessman who has estranged himself from his family. However, when his mother's illness forces him to return home, Matthew must confront the hatred he feels for his alcoholic father, Tony. Tony surprises him though, and appears as a changed man. Matthew struggles with accepting this change, and continues acting out of hatred. At the climax, Matthew is forced to contemplate his estrangement, and realizes he has been repeating his dad's mistakes. Matthew attempts to leave, but the sight of Tony crying reinforces his change and Matthew finally accepts his father. The two leave for the hospital, together.
