Far Away, Here

Emotionally distanced and traumatized by the events of a sexual assault from a girl he thought loved him, a young man, Austin, sets out to regain the strength and confidence he lost by becoming intimate with the one he loves, Becca, a girl he hopes can love him despite the weakness in himself he desires to escape. Before long, however, Austin's strength crumbles in front of Becca when the hidden, far away anxieties of his trauma deliver him to an extreme state of vulnerability, and he discovers that maybe being vulnerable isn't a weakness... but a strength.
