Artificial Flowers (2023)

After arriving at the holiday-adorned high rise apartment of Phelix Deveraux, Maeve Bryant engages in a series of philosophical conversations which challenge her morality, sexuality, identity, and self-worth. As Phelix already possesses the rich "working-author" career which Maeve so desperately seeks for herself, she is willing to push past her boundaries and accept gradually rising levels of abuse and gas lighting -- subjecting herself to extreme amounts of emotional nakedness and physical violence; all to gain even just the slightest glimpse into the world of a successful True Artist -- -- one with whom she is so misguidedly infatuated.
