Midas' Ants (2023)

Midas' Ants is a joyride through the moments in history at which our ideas of nature changed. Nearby Rome an ancient castle overlooks the Tyrrhenian Sea. Its grim owner trumpets patriotic slogans from his ragged car while the local priest shoots anything that's beyond his comprehension. Joined by the choir of immigrants peasants indulge in Hegelian thinking while Balthazar the philosophical donkey and his hybrid friend reflect on human follies.
