How to Kill a White Man

A millennial man is trying to escape an anxiety riddled world, yet as he does so he falls deeper and deeper into the traps of technology and contemporary dating. He traverses everything from dating apps and drugs to deep spiritual and existential questions regarding things like climate change and the lost value of looking someone in the eyes. The story is told in a nonlinear way, moving in a dream-like fashion from one reality to the next. This film is adapted from Augustus Britton's book How to Kill a White Man (Words on Awakening), which is a collection of spiritual and existential short stories and poems. Compiled during the height of a world shifting on the axes of race, gender, sexuality, technology, and spirituality, How To Kill A White Man seeks to uncover hitherto mystifying social traps that the unwitting male, or, white male, to be more specific, has fallen prey to.
