Emigrantai (2013)

Movie "Emigrants" is sort of a protest against what is currently happening in Lithuania, emigration problem affects every family. In the film through irony and humor reveals a healthy heartbreaking family tragedy. Young, promising girl Monica plan their designer career start at home. To come her dreams true helps her boyfriend Linas, who left to live with a grandmother, because his parents emigrated to England. Monica's sister Ugne convinced that only abroad she can create their promised perfect life. However, the girls' father (writer), lost his job, and disappointed in their state receives a good offer to work as a newspaper editor in London. The family must move to live in Great Britain, it is painfully affects Monica and Linas destinies. That fateful summer, Monica leaves a scar in the heart with which she has to live the rest of her life.
