Ashamed (2023)

Following Lori's complex journey to escaping an abusive interracial relationship in late 1970's England. The toxicity stems from deep-rooted racist beliefs that Asian women should be obedient and submissive. One evening Robert invites his parents around for dinner, who disapprove of the engagement and continuously disregard Lori's feelings. His parents' actions highlight Robert's behaviour, pushing Lori to her breaking point.
