Synthetiki was founded in 1985 in Athens by Apostolis Loverdos and Dionisis Avgerinos. The music documentary A Film about Something highlights the late recognition that this electronic band through the web, while recording moments from their concerts and journey as a band. Apostolis refers to this early period as a "perfect rejection toward us."
