Patrick Delaney mid-40's, single, living in New York City in a tiny apartment, surrounded by beer bottles and piles of dirty laundry, is wakened by a phone call from his older sister Jesse - she tells him that their mom is in the hospital with a heart attack. Patrick must now travel home to confront a hard truth.
