Every year in June, for one day, Warsaw is taken over by thousands, if not tens of thousands of people. A colorful, loud, magical crowd takes over the streets. The capital of one of the most homophobic countries in the European Union has hosted the Equality Parade for 21 years - an event that gives visibility not only to LGBTQ people, but to the entire community of excluded and discriminated people. What motivates activist individuals to take action? Why have you found people willing to take an active part in this event for so many years? What makes Warsaw gain the status of an enclave of freedom and equality for one day in June? And is it really an enclave for everyone? The documentary Don't rain on our Parade attempts to answer these questions.
