In order to win a competition with a prize worth 2 billion from a soap company, the villagers living on the edge of Lake Maninjau in West Sumatra devised a grand plan. The winner of the competition, Angku Wan, who was an elder in the village, unfortunately passed away before claiming the prize. Through various means, the villagers, including Ni Ta, Da Am, Si Mar, and others, tried to convince the soap company that Angku Wan was still alive. Their intention was not driven by greed; they wanted to use the prize for noble purposes, such as building the village for the common welfare, as per Angku Wan's final message. However, the plans devised by the villagers garnered both support and opposition. The situation became more complicated when Anwar, the representative of the soap company, suddenly arrived in the village to validate the winner.
