En lugar de irnos (2019)

An old building in the city of Bogotá opens its doors to reveal the life of its inhabitants; a group of transgender people struggling to avoid feeling trapped in their home, just as they have always been inside their own body. Otto works as an administrator and doorman in an old building in the center of Bogotá. His life takes place between controlling income, collecting rent and mediating conflicts between the inhabitants. He lives in the building with his son and with a group of tenants made up, among others, of former street dwellers, marginal artists, transsexuals and transvestites, who find refuge and a family in this place. With a close look, this documentary recounts their lives, while revealing each of those worlds, with their sorrows and joys. Otto will have to decide if he is going to raise his son in this environment, where solidarity, friendship and honesty are present, as well as fights and disagreements between the residents.
