Irfan, a handsome tailor who works in the busy by-lanes of a congested Mumbai neighborhood, is aware of the effect he has on women. As someone who grew up in better circumstances in his hometown of Aligarh, U.P, he still lives in the glory of his past in the way he dresses and speaks, but has faced the realities of what it is like to be in this new city. When a hip stylist, Sanya, comes to his tailor shop for an urgent shoot, an unlikely friendship strikes between the two and they explore each other's worlds in the months to follow. Sanya, who is dating her client, a young and upcoming star, Armaan, is pinning her hopes on her own design label which can change the tide of her somewhat stuck career. Her lucky charm, Armaan, who is the face of this photo shoot, cancels at the last minute. What will Sanya do? Will Irfan help her out like he always does? Will there be more than just this professional exchange of help between the two?
