"Sanduka" examines the process of a morgue and gusül house, and shows its daily routine. Although death is a big taboo for most people, it turns into a routine rather than a taboo for people working in a morgue, constantly facing death. As the camera roams around the morgue in all realism, it stops at a mirror. In the mirror, a staff member of the same hospital acts as the viewer and asks various questions to the person who bathes dead bodies. "Is it a hard job? How does it feel like to be among dead bodies all the time? And most importantly, aren't they ever scared?
