Rape is mentioned throughout, but not in detail. When the lead is assaulted, nothing is shown on screen. You see her walking alone at night, and a man following her. He knocks her out, and it cuts to another scene. When it cuts back to her, she is lying in the grass, with her skirt unbuttoned and her shirt ripped off, revealing her bra and stomach, and her upper legs. No graphic nudity is shown. The camera angle shows the man pulling his pants up, but you can't see above his calf.

Multiple references to prostitution, adultery, and sexual assault. Some female inmates are aggressive with the female lead in an implied sexual way, but nothing happens.

A few mild references to women having pretty bodies. A man stares at a young woman's legs.

An inmate stabs another inmate with what appears to be a pen. Not graphic.

A girl kills a man by hitting him repeatedly with a large stone. His body and injuries afterwards are not directly shown.
