Deacon: Let Us Pray (2022)

Deacon has been the head deacon of Echo Valley First Baptist Church for several years and has been a congregation member his entire life before that. Five years ago, he had a heart attack that required a quadruple bypass. Ever since then, following his doctor's advice, he's had a glass of red wine a night for his health. Unfortunately, he lives in a deeply religious town where any form of drinking is frowned upon. This causes his entire life to come crumbling down when his picture is put on the front page of the paper after winning a bottle of whiskey in a raffle he didn't even know he entered. When his church strips him of his head deacon title when confronting him about his nonexistent alcoholism, he decides to take the opportunity to air out the dirty laundry of all the other congregation members.
