Alias A.R. Penck (1984)

A.R. Penck is one of the best known contemporary German artists. His real name is Ralf Winkler. The pseudonym, A.R. Penck, was one of many that he used while still living in East Germany and smuggling his pictures to the West. Since 1980 he has lived in London. The film takes a biographical look at his artistic career.
