Legalized 30 years ago in Australia, houses of prostitution have become a respectable activity there and a model for a number of other western countries. Nevertheless, the social ans societal consequences of such legislation do have certain "side effects". This film takes a closer look at such houses in the state of Victoria and its capital, Melbourne.
