Nani (2022)

When Hasan's grandmother requests to see the Indian village of her childhood once more before she dies, Hasan must find a smart way to honor her final wish. As Nani and Hasan find their "India" in Karachi's Narayanpura, it shows us that both the countries are alike in more ways than they are different, and highlights the impossible hurdles people from one side of the border face to visit the homes they were forced to abandon during the partition., In the end, the film paints what a possible harmonious future between both countries could look like.
