Super Needed (2022)

Super Cat, a superhero, is convinced that the world needs her saving. Especially those who have a disability. On a mission to save Laura, a fierce roller girl, her world is turned upside down. For Laura seems not to be in need of any saving. Confronted by a lack of purpose, Super Cat is propelled into an existential crisis. Lucky for her, Laura is able to help her realize that she doesn't need to be super to be a hero. Theme: 'SUPER' Needed is about 'normies' - Superheroes - forcing their good intended help onto people who differ from the norm. We want to show that people with a disability, mentally or physically, can do way more than people often think. There is no need to treat us any different.
