Perjury (2022)

Ella is a young woman who finds herself trapped in an abusive relationship which is further magnified by the affects of the Covid crisis. Certain that if she waits any longer to flee, she may end up dead, Ella makes the risky decision to leave. After filling out a police report she is placed in a safehouse where she can finally feel secure. Soon however, Ella quickly realizes that her safehouse is anything but safe. Failed by the system with nowhere left to go, Ella must get creative and take matters into her own hands in order to save herself.
