Glory Days (2021)

Mason Spalding is a man in his late 40s who can't stop thinking about his glory days as a highly touted baseball prospect. He consistently watches his old tapes of him playing like a superstar. One day he returns back to his old field, run down and abandoned, just like his baseball career. He steps into the batter's box where he has so many highlights and one low light that haunts him. He thinks back to that fateful day 30 years ago, when he had an opportunity to walk off the game, but on a bad swing, he injured himself and is removed from the game. All he could do was watch when his teammate got the game-winning hit and all the glory that came along with it. Present-day Mason decides right then that he'll rewrite history how he sees fit. He grabs his imaginary bat and crushes an imaginary baseball into oblivion, sending everyone home happy and sending him off to the big leagues.
