It's a hot summer morning on the beach of Coccia di Morto. A suspended atmosphere hovers among the crowd who populates the beach. Kimutai, an African boy in his thirties, enjoys the view of the sea, lying on the shore, while the other bathers are absorbed in their activities. A father is playing cards with his son, a young man is watching over the beach, a group of friends is chatting while sipping beers. Suddenly their attention is caught by the African boy, who is standing up, revealing an imposing height of two meters. The titanic body and the black skin, beaded with sweat, arouse the curiosity of the bathers. One of them is Monica, a beautiful girl fascinated by Kimutai, who approaches him to talk and invite him to a party. A smile reveals Kimutai's contentment. Nevertheless, under the curiosity of the others lies prejudice and anger. An innocent misunderstanding with a child sparks the outbreak of a furious argument. The entire beach looks bewildered at the scene. Kimutai's dream of normality is shattered and the boy is forced to return to his condition, revealing an unexpected reality with no future.
