Puré de Patata (Diary of an immigrant) is a movie, written and directed by Michael Dike Martins Akpapuna and shot in Madrid, Spain. The movie explores the vices of human trafficking and forced prostitution, using Nigerian immigrants in Europe as a case study. The movie also ruminates on some of the core reasons behind this illegal but unfortunately, very lucrative business. The movie employs the use of satire to showcase such a very serious and to so many, nauseating and disgusting issue while inviting the audience to a debate and to draw their individual conclusion on the matter.
