His empire was founded in Skara when the record company Mariann was established. Besides Carola, Vikingarna, Noice, Eddie Meduza, Flamingokvintetten, and Kikki Danielssonbelonged to the artist catalogue. Karlsson's successes in the European Song Contest are many.
