Don Goyo (2023)

On a farm dedicated to the cultivation of sugarcane and the production of rum, Cusumbo, a young worker, is obsessed with the legend of Don Goyo, a wild man who has supernatural powers and lives hidden in the forest. Inspired by the novel of the same name, this thriller reflects on the relationship between humans and nature, the exploitation of resources and their workers, and the traditions and rituals of the Ecuadorian countryside.
