EJECT is a film within a film set in two different eras, where the beginning and end eventually meet. There are two parallel stories, that of François and that of Marie. An accident. A long hospitalization. Amnesia. But that was five years ago. François has learned to live with a forgotten past and a failing memory. François, a screenwriter-director in his fifties, is desperate to write THE screenplay that will relaunch his career. Jean-Claude, his new producer, suggests he retreat to the countryside to find inspiration. Settled in a secluded house found through a small ad, François will end up wondering if it wasn't the house that found him. Strange sounds, enigmatic discoveries on the walls of an abandoned room will put him on the trail of a painful past. Isabelle, a charming neighbor and graphic designer who came to grow her vegetables after fleeing Paris and a traumatic life, will help him understand what happened in this house. But what really happened? Why is François so receptive to these messages? Will he dare to exploit the events he discovers for his own benefit, despite Isabelle's indignation? And Marie? Who is this woman from the past who films her life like a diary? What sufferings did she endure? What happened in this house for Marie to leave an indelible imprint?
