Trumpers??? (2023)

Chloe is a 6-year-old first-grader, and her mom works as a front-line doctor treating COVID patients. After work, her mom has to quarantine herself at home. Chloe's grandma is currently taking care of her, but Chloe is not happy about it. She misses her mom, hates Zoom classes, and can't stand her grandma's cooking. Additionally, Chloe's grandma is afraid to go to the grocery store due to the increasing hate crimes targeting Asian elders. When Chloe accidentally ate the dumplings her grandma had made for her mom's birthday, she came up with a "creative solution" to fix her mistake. Unexpectedly, this "solution" opened up a whole new world of complexities that Chloe is still too young to fully grasp. Nevertheless, this forced Chloe to grow up fast within a day.
