13 Assassins (1990)

The notorious Mayer of Akashi, Naritsugu Matsudaira was elected to be the post-Rozyu. The present Rozyu, Doi (Tetsuro Niwa) ordered Shinzaemon (Tatsuya Nakadai) to assassinate Narihira. 13 assassins including him gathered got prepared to assault Narihira on his way from Edo to Akashi. However, there were 100 soldiers in the troop, including Kitou (Isao Natsuyagi), who is Shinzaemon's close friend.
