Piken med Svovelstikkene (2021)

A musical film adaptation of the fairy-tale "The Little Match Girl" by H.C. Andersen. In the film, we meet the poor girl Ella who goes from door to door selling matches on New Year's Eve. Time and time again she is shut out in the cold, and in fear of her father the girl does not dare to go home. Cold and alone, she flees out to the streets, but comforts herself to her deceased grandmother, who is the only one close to her.
