Along for the Ride (2022)

Auden, an applied student, decides to spend the summer before college in a seaside town with her absentee father, her young stepmother and their new baby. Independent and mature, Auden befriends three girls and meets the lonely Eli, a motorcyclist who is overcoming a recent trauma; the two engage in hilarious situations they had not allowed themselves to experience. An enjoyable comedy, mixing romance and drama, where director Sofia Alvarez avoids resorting to teen movie clichés.
