Driving Force '89 (1989)

Presented by Mike Smith and Murray Walker. This is the sixth year of this special pro-celebrity driving competition, which has now moved to Jersey in the Channel Islands (UK). There are exotic machines such as Dingos, Unimogs and Esarcos which lie in wait for the competitors, as does the tide!. The teams include: Former world motorcycle champion Joey Dunlop who teams up with Barry McGuigan. Formula 1 driver Jonathan Palmer is with Mark King from 'Level 42'. Swedish Grand Prix driver Stefan Johansson's team-mate is 'Holiday 89' presenter Kathy Tayler. Double world champion rally driver from Finland, Juha Kankkunen is joined by Phillip Schofield from 'Going Live'.
