At a young age, Eugene is fascinated with God, his servants, and the fantastic stories of the Hebrew Bible. Fighting the oppressors, saving the people, and being true to God, Eugene wishes he can take part in God's great plan. One night he gets just that, in the form of a burning tree; God contacts Eugene and tells him that he will be a servant to God and to the Israelite people. There is just one one thing he didn't anticipate, God isn't who Eugene thought he'd be...for one, she is a pot-smoking drag queen who's got a lot to say. When she tells Eugene that his task is to kill his father, Eugene wrestles with the moral conundrum; is murder okay if God tells you to do it? Consulting with his Rabbi, Eugene must decide whether to listen to God and kill his father, or go against the God he loves so much.
